Diabetes Webinars

Beginning in December 2020 and through June 2021, The Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI), in collaboration with the Virginia Diabetes Council and the Virginia Department of Health, produced a series of three webinars focusing on diabetes prevention and management and the role of community health workers.  Community Health Workers, CHW supervisors, community-based organization leaders, and health system leaders joined with host Abby Charles from IPHI to provide information and share experiences highlighting the unique role CHWs play in chronic disease management.
